This Illustration is part of a series of state floral bouquets inspired by my love of flowers. The Rosa Laevigata also known as the Cherokee rose became the official state flower of Georgia in 1916. This pretty white flower with vivid green leaves blooms in early spring and sometimes again in the fall in favorable conditions.
