Commission 1x custom watercolor map for your Minted stationery. Buildings, landscapes, destinations, private residences are all welcome! You'll work with Jaime Coast, the artist behind Cotton & Bow, to have a hand painted illustration with locations of your choice emailed to you as a digital file for use on an invitation, save the date, bar sign, menu, or other piece of Minted stationery.

How it works:
1. Add this item to your cart, place your order and wait for an email with instructions. We'll reach out with next steps within 1-2 business days!
2. Receive a sketch to confirm your proportions, and other details.
3. Receive a photo of the finished painting and request any minor color or detail tweaks before the final digital file is sent over.

While we do not limit the number of locations per map, a mix of smaller icons and more detailed buildings typically looks best. We recommend that you don’t ask us to paint more than 5 detailed buildings / locations or it starts to look overly busy and not like the beautiful inspiration pictures you see online. Also keep in the mind how close together the locations are. If you ask us to paint 10 locations that are very close together, along with a few that are super far away, that also doesn’t lead to a very balanced map. After doing this for many years, we have developed a great expertise on how to get a great-looking map and are here to help guide you!

What you receive:
1x digital file (.png) of 1x map. Nothing is being shipped to you.

The process includes up to three revision rounds. Revisions include minor changes to proportions, details, color changes, etc. A redesign or requests for entirely new paintings are not revisions. You’ll be asked to confirm the number of locations before sketching begins. New locations cannot be added after the final sketches are approved. You’ll be granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable unlimited personal license to the artwork. No commercial use of the artwork is allowed. It may not be resold or made available to download elsewhere.
