I’m Fernanda Martínez, the artist behind “La Tinta”, my personal brand. I’m based in Oakland, California. My art has a highly expressive spirit and explores the relation with environment by incorporating nature elements. Through my artwork I aim to inspire others to admire the beauty of the ordinary, draw the attention to details and prompt to reconnect with the natural world. La Tinta is a world of plants that celebrates life.

Jinhee (Artist name, jinseikou) began drawing at a very early age in her mother’s art schools. Since 10 year-old, she has learned from dessin to water & oil paintings under the traditional art curriculums in S.Korea and Japan. Simplicity, delicate realism and the tension of spreading inky pigment on watery paper have fascinated her. Currently, she is living in Brooklyn, NY and working as a commission artist & illustrator. Katie Doherty

Travel and photography are such a perfect pair. Though I love seeing new places even without my camera, when I am able to photograph somewhere I am traveling it seems like all the stars align. I’m particularly drawn the plants and landscapes in the American southwest. California, Arizona, and southern Utah inspire me explore and document what I find.

Working in acrylics and mixed media, she looks for a harmony and balance between realism and abstraction. An artist-designer and blogger who loves the mix of design, words, art and craft. Deborah’s work is modern, sophisticated, graphic and bold with a unique color sense and it reflects her love for the simplicity of line. She works in both digital and traditional methods. Hello! I’m Jenny Brown, a visual artist from Providence, RI. Works found in this shop look to illustrate my curiosity surrounding issues of time and space, through the creation of my personal alt universe of stars, flowers, & sea creatures.
