Inspiration:
As an abstract artist I sometimes feel compelled to explore more traditional subject matter. This piece was inspired by the rolling hills of California, and is a complete departure from my usual work. But it emerged in an afternoon and I love the contrast of moody umber sky with the colorful fields below.
