About the work
Part of a series of sailing photographs this one was taken while we were on a sail boat in the West Indies. Taken late in the evening while they were lowering the sails it was just so beautiful. I love grain of the image and how the heavy weight of the fabric folds onto itself creating great shadows and depth.
