About the work

I grew up at the beach and spent most of my childhood and young adult life on a bicycle. To this day, I love the freedom a bicycle brings, speeding down hills, winding aimlessly along paths and streets, feeling the wind in my hair. Luckily, while on a trip to Levanto, Italy others felt the same about bike riding. As I was getting ready to park my bike and stroll along the beach, I saw this lone, vintage bike parked in an underpass and it caught my eye. Something about the simple composition of the bike by itself reminded me of my carefree days as a youth.
