WHAT DO YOU GET WITH YOUR ORDER?

Our fold-over kids thank you cards are sized at 5.5” x 4.25” and have blank inside card panels where your child can compose their handwritten messages of appreciation. One-of-a-kind designs created by independent artists are printed on smooth-to-the-touch cottony stationery. Each card comes complete with a classic white envelope. If you wish, you can upgrade the coloring of the envelope to eye-catching options like antique rose, cloud blue, navy, and spruce, to name a few. Customize your card order to reflect the number of guests you anticipate attending your child’s party, or simply place a larger order so you can have excess thank you notes that can be sent for future occasions. Our minimum order is just 15 cards, which can be adjusted in increments of 10. For added design excellence, look for some of our designs that include metallic foil elements. These selections will be called out with a “real foil, see it shine” tag below them. Adjust the foil coloring to be printed in gold, silver, rose gold, silver glitter, and other uniquely reflective colors.

LET YOUR CHILD COMPOSE THEIR OWN THANK YOU WORDING

Allow your child to take the reins when it comes to composing the text that appears on their thank you card. It will allow them to work on their penmanship and spelling, as well as develop valuable skills in accurately relaying their gratitude for a gift. A handwritten note from your child will be much more appreciated and well-received by the recipient than one written by a parent, even if the message is simple and short. Advise children to practice writing their message on a scrap piece of paper first before finalizing their card. This will allow them to catch spelling errors and accurately organize their thoughts. Below are a couple of themes to help steer your child in the right direction as to what to talk about in their composition.

• How have they used or plan to use their new gift?
• What do they like about their gift (color, size, pattern, etc.)
• What did they enjoy about their birthday party, holiday, graduation? Have them detail a few fun events that took place.
• If your child is artistic, encourage them to draw a doodle to add some visual character to their thank you message. Carry a party theme forward by having them sketch a picture of a dinosaur, zoo animal, or unicorn.

CARD ETIQUETTE

Common thank you card etiquette is to send your notes of gratitude as soon as possible after receiving your gifts. We recommend trying to get your cards in the mail within a week of your child opening their gifts. This is why you should plan to order your kid’s thank you cards in advance of a party. To help keep your child organized and remind them who gifted each gift, consider writing down each gift and the coordinated gift-giver as your child opens their presents. The list can then be used as a checklist as your child begins to write their thank-yous.
