Belly bands are narrow strips of material usually made of paper that wrap around the middle (or belly) of your invitation suites, keeping them neatly assembled. Minted’s paper bands are sized at 12.3125" x 2" and will snuggly wrap around a standard 5” x 7” sized invitation. Each belly band comes with a clear adhesive sticker which helps to seal the paper band around your invitation card, RSVP card, insert card, and corresponding envelopes, keeping all items secured in the order intended.

HOW TO ARRANGE YOUR INVITATION SUITE WITH A BELLY BAND
In general, your invitation suite should be ordered by size, with the largest stationery items placed on the bottom. The formal invitation is traditionally the largest piece of correspondence, thus it should be on the bottom, followed by the reception card, enclosure cards, and then the reply envelope. Place the entire arrangement within the belly band and secure the band closed using the accompanying sticker. Then place the entire bundle inside the envelope. Typically, the exterior envelope will include calligraphy of the addressee’s name, and inner envelopes are left unsealed so guests can easily complete their RSVP and seal.
