A Quiet Trace came together through layers of color and spontaneous marks. I wanted to allow the painting to develop naturally, without controlling every detail, letting each layer leave something behind for the next.

The contrast between the warm terracotta tones and the green shades became one of my favorite parts of this piece. Where the two areas meet, the colors soften and blend into one another, while darker marks and subtle imperfections remain visible throughout the surface.

This piece works beautifully in both orientations. It can be displayed horizontally or vertically, depending on the space and your preference. I personally love it both ways.

This original artwork was painted with acrylics on lightweight raw cotton canvas. The raw surface absorbs the paint in its own way, creating variations in color, and blurred edges
