Although I live in Florida now, my roots are in California and the West Coast has always felt like home. I have long been drawn to the ocean and to water as a source of comfort and inspiration. Using quick expressive brushstrokes, these paintings focus on movement light and atmosphere rather than exact detail. This work is part of an ongoing series inspired by the ocean and the idea of home.
