My art explores the infinite variety of forms that appear in nature - the illusive and ever-changing beauty of water, the fleeting and unreachable sky, and the irregular yet repetitive shapes of trees. The painting Sky Suite 2 is part of a larger body of work that includes paintings of both the ocean and the sky. Working in oils, I capture my vision on canvas with gestural brushwork depicting patterns of movement and light. Sky Suite 2 is a companion piece to Sky Suite 1.
