In this drawing, I wanted to explore the theme of growth. These botanicals all follow an upwards motion yet intertwined, showing that growth is a collective effort. I chose to balance the femininity of peonies, passion flowers, tulips, and the curviness of the line work with deeper masculine ink colors on an off-white canvas.
