Traveling through the Moroccan countryside by car, I created a series of photographs on medium-format film in which the motion blur creates layers of abstraction that vary according to distance. I love the deep, rich colors in this image (tomato, marsala, lilac, peach, & the orange-glow of the setting sun), and the painterly quality of the trees.
