I love experimenting with new materials and working with my hands. This piece is an exploration of color and nature-inspired patterns and was created by hand-stamping in acrylic using slices of bok choi stalks. I love the way the natural shapes of the vegetable create an irregular organic stamping block that's unique from anything I might have carved myself.
