After studying painting at the Cleveland Institute of Art, I returned to the medium several years ago. I love the way watercolors and paper interact in a sometimes unpredictable way. The simplicity of the composition and the loose painting style capture the glass green waves and the joy and freedom of surfing.

I'm told that as a toddler, I spent hours exploring the treasures in my mom’s jewelry box. Maybe that’s where my fascination with design, color and form began. I began drawing and painting in grade school and never stopped. Later, I attended art school and then graduated with a degree in graphic design.
My style is fresh, loose and impressionistic. I like bold, simple compositions that create a serene environment. less
