You should plan to order and send baby shower invitations 2 months in advance. Include registry info or the theme to help guests choose a gift, and make sure you note anything else they should bring, such as books, diapers, or letters for the guest of honor.
Designed to coordinate with and layer on top of your baby shower invitations, insert cards can be used to request books, announce diaper raffles, host display showers, gather advice, or detail gift registry information. Select a matching belly band to hold it all together and add the perfect finishing touch. Each insert card is fully customizable and printed on premium paper.
They’re stationery that’s designed to entertain guests through interactive, personalized, and often keepsake-oriented activities or games. In some cases, guests are asked to complete certain cards in advance and bring with them.
Game and activity card types include guess the bump size, would she rather, baby bingo, parenting advice, wishes for baby, and more.
Certain types of cards—like parenting advice cards—can be sent with the invitation to allow guests time to write their answers in advance.

Plan to coordinate with them on the guest list. Ask them to share the guest addresses they have (they can download their Minted address book for you if they already have one), or work with other family members or friends to obtain any missing addresses.
If they have one, then yes! If you plan on hosting a display shower (in which guests bring gifts unwrapped), make sure it’s communicated with guests.

Novelty shapes are insert cards that are intended to be layered on top of—and mailed with—your invitations. They’re available in fun shapes like cowboy boot, martini glass, butterfly, seashell, and more. The idea is to have fun with these! You can choose to perfectly match them to your invitations or mix and match shapes and designs. Some include customizable text, and others are purely decorative. All novelty shapes are currently printed on our Signature Paper and are not available with letterpress or foil-pressed printing. Shop the full collection here.
