Whether you decide to do a simple slow dance or an elaborate choreographed number, your first dance marks your debut as a married couple. You and your new spouse will be in the spotlight for this one, so be sure to listen carefully to the lyrics of the song to make sure they’re wedding-appropriate and really resonate with you. (You might also want to consider dance lessons!) Whether you start with a list of favorite songs and narrow it down from there, or you already have a special song you both love, find a first dance song for your wedding that’s meaningful to you as a couple and captures your relationship.

From country to R&B music, Frank Sinatra to Ed Sheeran, we’ve put together this list of unique and popular first dance songs to help you find the one.
