In this small semi abstract landscape, I tried to capture the evening calm when the first snowflakes start to fall. It has blurred silhouettes of distant trees reflected on a serene body of water. The gentle falling snow enhances the tranquil night cold setting.
Painted on 100% cotton, cold pressed, 300 gsm Arches paper with watercolour and acrylic ink.
This is a very small unframed watercolour painting. It measures 10.2 x 7.1 inches (26 x 18 cm). It will look beautiful framed and hanged on the wall or placed on a tabletop frame.
