The series was made by arranging on photosensitive paper and exposed to sunlight resulting in a pair of textured geometric pieces.

Kamala has always best understood the world through photography. It is a means for exploration with a freedom she does not experience any other way. She rarely approaches a scene with a plan, preferring to respond spontaneously to her senses. Her intention is less about documenting a place and more about conveying how the elements feel.

Kamala lives in coastal California with her husband, animals, and her almost grown children.
