About the work

When I travel, I often take the backroads, enjoying the slower pace and view of fields and farms away from the interstate. I found this field in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. I sat in the dirt and enjoyed the gentle breeze. This image captures the peace and simple pleasure of that moment. It is one of a series of four prints.
