I have always loved stones and gems. As a child, I collected and polished rocks. Today I am drawn to agates because the colors are so rich and the color combinations are beautiful. Nature creates such beautiful patterns. This piece is part of a small body of work that explores rocks and agates. I chose watercolor as this medium is fluid but unpredictable.
