This is drawing I created using white chalk and black charcoal pencils on grey toned paper. I set up this still life of peaches on a table to draw them from life in my art studio. The shadows and forms were so intriguing and I loved creating this piece!

Meghan Lacey lives in Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia. Her inspiration comes from her mom, Lyn Lacey, who is also an accomplished artist. Meghan graduated with her B.A. in Art and Design, with a Concentration in Painting and a Minor in Art History at LaGrange College in May of 2017. As of Spring 2021, Meghan is currently pursuing her M.F.A. in Painting, through the Academy of Art University, in San Francisco, CA. less
