This is a painting of a pink heart. I first drew an outline of a heart with graphite on 140 pound hot press watercolor paper. I then painted within my drawn heart with pink watercolor paint. As I was painting I started out with pink watercolor paint and while keeping it still wet, I added blues and yellows on the paper to allow them to mix with the pink paint on the paper. I started at the top of the heart keeping the paint wet, slowly adding other colors to mix, keeping it wet allowing blooms to occur.
