I was inspired to paint these swimmers underwater to show the beautiful form of the swimmers figure, the brilliant turquoise water, and the pattern of the water reflections on the skin and surface of the pool. The vibrant colors depict energy, and movement, yet the scene is cool and refreshing. I have had many viewers state that the paintings make them want to get in the water to swim.
