I caught this scene when visiting Whitney museum outdoor terrace. The afternoon 3 o'clock sun in winter time rendered the flat terrace beautifully with geometric pattern. Low angle sun formed a pattern with shades of multilayer terrace . Also a play of various density of the shadow off the texture and depth of the subjects.
