"Big Sky Country" is originally part of the 'Over Land and Sea' series. This series of paintings is inspired by my love for the ocean, and the Great Lakes and country roads of the Midwest. Each canvas represents a moment in time – a beautiful memory.
ABOUT THE ARTIST

My mother inspired me to follow my passion for art early. While studying fine art in school, I worked as a graphic designer and illustrator. When my kids came along, I was exploring textiles – selling hand-painted wares and handcrafted jewelry out of boutiques in Chicago. My relationships with the city’s designers led to commissioned work as a muralist/colorist. I put my paintbrush to work on homes and businesses for years. Now I'm happy to be back in my Chicago studio painting on canvas. less
