I'm an elementary school teacher and photographer living in Boston, MA. I have carried my camera with me on journeys across the world and on my own city blocks. Looking through the lens has helped me to appreciate the small details and really look closely no matter where I find myself. I took this photograph in New York's Chinatown while looking up, never letting my eyes rest, and finding beauty in the often overlooked.
