Frame Close-upIt was December. The first frost. I was in Brownsville, Oregon and saw a tree, named Oakly, that is 150-years-old. It had lost all of its leaves. My fingers were numb, but fortunately my hands didn’t start shaking until after this shot. It was worth it! I love the muted tones, the many different textures, and the overlapping of leaves.
