There is a Magnolia tree right outside my art studio window. I see the furry buds appear in February and watch as they grow into majestic blossoming petals come May. They are both strong and beautiful, enduring the harsh winter and ushering in the sweetness of Spring. Their sculptural beauty and strength inspired these abstract botanical paintings.
