While spending some time on the island of Kauai, I was drawn to this small church over and over again. The ornate, handsome details of the church fit perfectly into the lush, swaying landscape of Kauai. To keep the photo balanced, I used the tall skinny palm tree on the left to offset the short, wide church on the right, while using the mountain in the background to bridge the two objects.
