About the work

Inspired by traditional sign painting and food crate type treatments, this fun collaged map celebrates local flavor, California-style. I love combining traditional techniques like block printing and painting with digital collage and typography, and I like the way the crisp edges of this map contrast with the weathered, natural textures of the crates.
