About the work
This acrylic painting of wispy white abstract blossoms was inspired by chrysanthemums. The stems are drips of paint and the background is ethereal. The San Francisco Bay Area, is where I am sheltering at home with my husband and college bound son. My older son works in Los Angeles. Paint colors, shapes and textures bring me happiness and carry me to a whole new world. I am grateful painting allows me to escape the realities of the pandemic. I look forward to being able to paint theater sets with my comrades at WVLO again.
