My pappy was from Italy. He came over on a boat when he was 18 to find work and start a family. He was a man of few words and when he did speak I had a hard time understanding what he was saying because of his broken english. I used to always ask him to speak in Italian to me but he was always reluctant. I learned "Ciao" and learned that "bella" meant beautiful. This print is in remembrance of my pappy. I want to hang it in my home and every time I pass, remember him.
