This abstract mountain top view was created with pallet knife strokes over a smooth textured digital paper. What started as random brush strokes quickly began to form a mountain scape with geometric angles and curves. I love using muted colors to bring a sense of ease to the viewer's eye as it travels throughout the painting. In this painting the diagonal strokes guide the viewer's eyes across the mountains and through a multicolored rising sun giving the painting a sense of constant movement through the sky and around the still mountains.
