I was inspired to paint these cute whales after a trip to the tide pools with my two boys. We spotted a whale in the ocean and they were so excited! I created this painting to capture that moment - the salty air, the sun on our faces and all the beauty and wonder in their eyes.

My creative journey started from the moment I could hold a crayon. I would spend hours at the dining table drawing until it was bedtime. Over the years my career has taken me into a corporate business environment, but I never stopped designing and continued to let art feed my soul. Today I juggle being a wife and mom of two boys with my corporate job while designing stationery and other surface illustrations in my free time.
