I wanted to capture a late evening ocean view from more an emotive stance than a realistic version. I set down a dreamy palette with soft and warm colors primarily mauve, pink, beige and green. There is a tenderness in its late glimpse of ocean tides with an overall glow.

With a background in music (piano and composition) and art I'm often in my comfort zone creating. I have a continuous curiosity of things involving art and design, nature, music, architecture, and photography, and inspiration is never in short supply. With a great cup of coffee and most likely a tasty pastry too, I'm always up for a Minted Challenge. But just as easily is any happy chance to hang out with my wife and kids and our terrific dog and cats. less
