Whatever the season or time of day, when I close my eyes, in my mind I am always wandering through peaceful fields of long grass dotted with bright pops of color that fade into pretty pastels in the far, far distance. When I open my eyes I attempt to paint this scene by merging layers of earthy colors with ribbons of more saturated hues until the landscape is complete.
