This piece was inspired by ideas of individuality, and being comfortable enough with oneself to standout amongst the mundane, everyday. In this piece, painted loops with varying degrees of uniqueness are arranged in a loose pattern. The eye recognizes a pattern formation but is drawn to the one shape which is able to fit into the formation and yet still express a vibrant individuality - it has found the perfect balance between the two ideas of fitting in yet standing out.
