Because I have loved animals since I was little, one of my favorite summertime trips with my sons is to the zoo. The hippo is particularly intriguing to me. Although colossal in size, they are so sedate by nature. I always have my camera with me and in this instance I was drawn to how the water effortlessly buoyed this purple beast.
