Soft, billowing clouds triumph over a darkening sky in this dramatic cloudscape. Montana, aka "Big Sky Country" is known for its rapidly changing weather systems and I am constantly studying how clouds move, reflect and capture light as they sprawl across this vast landscape.

My aesthetic is ever-changing. Ethereal-light-reflective and playful one moment, industrial-modern-gritty-urban the next. I find it so difficult to limit myself to any one style because I like to be surrounded by contrasting elements in my own environment. A painting should evoke emotion in its owner every time he or she looks at it. When I create my paintings, I envision them in someone’s home and hope that each piece brings as much joy to its new owner as it did to me during its creation.
