I painted these three baby bears in watercolor, in my personal, self-taught watercolor style. I love how each cub has a unique personality, and they're so playful together. I can picture them in a nursery, a playroom, a rustic living room, or maybe a cabin. They're happy and cheeky and just right!

I'm Lauren: a NYer, traveler, lover of books, horses, dogs and painting. When I was a little girl, used to tell anyone who asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up that I wanted to be a "veterinarian with pictures all over the walls" but ultimately I'd rather wield a paintbrush than a scalpel! Watercolors are my medium of choice. I think it allows me to best capture the expressions of my subjects, and getting that face, those eyes, or little ears or curl of tail, just right. less
