When I was a boy I spent summers fishing the lakes and streams of southwestern Colorado with my grandparents. Papa taught my brother and me how to tie up a fly fishing rig, reel in a Rainbow trout, clean it, and fry it up for dinner. He's gone now but these flies take me back.
