This is the second image of a pair showing some of the architecture at the Getty Villa Museum on the Malibu coast in California. Apart from hosting beautiful ancient Greek and Roman art, the museum also has gorgeous gardens and architecture. I was especially drawn to the geometry of these outdoor staircases with strong leading lines and muted neutral colors. I hoped these two images, with their simplistic composition and subtle patterns, might be a great addition to a modern or midcentury home.

Hi I’m Lisa Sundin, a self-taught Swedish photographer living in LA. I’m inherently drawn to simplicity and minimalism, and my work often has neutral or pastel hues with strong leading lines. I believe that it’s often the simplest of objects and compositions that can have the largest impact on us, leaving room for interpretation and for us to create our own story. I very much appreciate you taking the time to view my work and I always love to hear from you: lisasundin@mac.com
