About the work
This piece is a ink drawing from one of my husband's photographs of a stairway leading to someone's home on a side street of Amsterdam. It was my favorite photo of his from this trip and has a familiar feeling to it like we could live there. The bikes are iconic but this is a different setting than one is used to seeing.
