About the work

I loved to cycle along the salty seaside roads of Hull Massachusetts during the summer months as a child. I'd ride past the library, the church and the ferry dock to the tip of the peninsula to catch a view of Boston from across the harbor from Pemberton Point. Bicycles have both form and function, two wheels can transport to a place of wonder and dreams. This playfully modern giclée print is the classic story of a dapper boy bike meets gamine girl bike. With their passion for bicycles they bring a little tricycle into the race.
