About the work

Last summer I had the opportunity to drive from my home town of Silverthorne, CO to Santa Monica, the end of Route 66. After a few long days of driving through the mountains of colorado, the red rocks of Utah and the desserts of Arizona, Nevada and California we finally made it to Venice Beach where this photo was taken. The street art in Venice and Santa Monica is amazing. Everywhere you turn there is a new fun and colorful painting on the wall. I loved the beachy vibes that ran through the vibrant city. This particular wall caught my eyes as I was strolling through the side streets off of the boardwalk.
