About the work
This photograph was taken while on a whale watching excursion with my family. As our boat followed a blue whale down the coast, we ended up out by LAX where airplanes were taking off right above us. I like to imagine that there was someone flying in the plane up there who just happened to look out their window and see the whale in the water below.
