Building on my "Asian Studies" series, inspired by Japanese language and calligraphy, is an exploration of how brushstroke and dry brush techniques with a more architectural and detailed focus. Combining the idea of calligraphic brushwork and urban architecture, this series creates a dynamic juxtaposition between natural and built environments.
