I'm inspired by the different textures of the moon, constellations, and the sky. It's amazing to me that the moon, a planet so far from the earth, rules the tides and often human emotions. Sometimes I imagine traveling to it on a magic carpet and bathing in the sun's reflection.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Adelaide is a Taiwanese American artist - born in Ohio and living in Atlanta. She began working in the arts when she took a position as associate curator at an Italian Art Museum. Since then Adelaide has worked in galleries as a residential art consultant, in commercial art consulting, and as a fine artist. Her work explores the balance between organic freedom and synthetic constraint. less
