I am always drawn to beach guard chairs. The chair stands alone on the beach, with a view out to sea, and gathers memories of summer, ideas of fun and play, coupled with loneliness of an individual point of view. The simple graphic lines and pale art deco style turquoise of the Santa Monica guard chairs evoke a dream of summer.
